by OK, looks like lots of new members since I've been here last...
Well, my mini is somewhat fixed. It no longer has a hard drive, sound card, optical drive, fan, airport or bluetooth. Long story, but suffice to say it's up and running again.

well i'm glad you have it running again. but no hard drive or optical drive? what's it running on? a usb drive? or netboot?

It's running off my FW 400 external. Works great for tasks my iBook can't handle well.
