i think this time it will, b/c so many people are wanting it and they already have 2 multi-touch devices, the iphone and the ipod touch

that's basically like 1 multi-touch device

yeah, but still, apple has just made the iphone w/multi-touch, i think it might be more probable for them to release the 'macbook touch' now

well, i wouldn't say 'now'. but they might release something else with multi-touch soon
