AT&T has announced detailed pricing information for its iPhone 3G plans.

AT&T also confirmed that they will be subsidizing the price for new and current iPhone customers, however they will also be offering an early upgrade plan for current AT&T customers that aren't upgrade eligible for $399 (8GB black) and $499 (16GB black/white). A no-commitment plan is also in the works that would sell the phone without subsidization at $599 for 8GB and $699 for 16GB.

you might be right, but as of right now, the only way i would get it would mainly be b/c of you getting my current iphone. b/c you do need a new phone.

also, these rates are the only thing keeping me from getting it

yeah its pretty bad, but if you think its not worth it then dont do it and just keep what you have. i mean, sure i would love to have the iphone, but remember i am not like you with stuff like that....i dont have to have it.
