i saw on the news today that John Smoltz is having season ending surgery. but he said that he does plan to try and come back in 2009. he is 41 years old

wow, smoltz is good, but having to try to come back from season-ending surgery at 42 yr.s old, will be really tough

thats really sad since its so early in the season, but he is getting old. i do like him alot though and hope he gets to come back next year.
