    Apple Supercomputer at Virginia Tech

Post by twoodcc on Sat Sep 27, 2008 8:16 pm

    from a poster on macrumors:

Today we got to visit and volunteer to help set up a supercomputer at Virginia Tech comprised of 325 MacPros. When operational, it will be the largest and most powerful power-aware cluster in the world. All the machines are connected using a custom cable, each being capable of speeds over 40Gbps, and all will run some form of Linux.
