Apple Announces New Mac Pros

The new mac pros use the new Penryn processors from Intel. the standard is 2.8 ghz with 8 cores. you can get one with only one processor, so 4 cores, if you prefer.

2GB of ram standard, and up to 32 GB.

320 GB hard drive standard, up to 4 TB total, across 4 drives.

ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256MB is the standard video card. They now offer a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB card, as well as the NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 1.5GB.

1 Superdrive standard, but can add another.

Wireless is not standard, but you can add it.

Comes with the new Apple Keyboard and wired Mighty Mouse.

The standard price is $2799. a little more than the old mac pro.
