Yesterday Apple released the SDK for the iPhone to developers. They also announced that in June, they would release the AppStore, so iPhone owners who update to the new iPhone 2.0 software can buy and download 3rd party apps

i'm sure you do. you have to have an apple id. the same id as the one on the itunes store, most likely. we'll see though
