so my workout today didn't go so well. i did 4 x 800 and then a 400 with Zaven. times were 2:27, 2:29, 2:31, 2:33, and then 70.

it could have been worse i guess. but still not great.

well, good job. thats still good, considering you havent trained like they have. you didnt have a cross season. its a lot different.

it will get better i am sure. you always get into shape pretty quickly.

i got in 5 miles yesterday, better than i thought i would do, but i still need to call coach stovall.

so i had a tempo run today. it was pretty tough. i was supposed to do 4 miles, but only made it thru 3 miles, in 17:40. it could have been worse i guess, but still not great.

yeah, the first few will be tough, but you will get used to them and get in better shape as time progresses. it will get better.

oh wow.......i am very sore today. i am feeling that long run from kennesaw mtn. my whole body hurts....

well, just shows that you need to start running more, and probably on the treadmill at your work. you don't really have much time to run outside after work.

yeah, i have to go run more. i also have to call coach stovall today. yeah, i guess the treadmill is the best option, since it gets dark and Rocky cant run that long. its just really good for him to get to run since he is on that chain all day.

well today we had a workout at piedmont on the bowl:
800, 600, 400 x 2 with 2:00 between each one, and 4-5 min between the sets

times: 2:24, 1:48, 1:10; 2:28, 1:51, 1:09

as you can see, the second time around hurt.

it was windy and cold. i just started out a little fast on the first 800

Good job! Those are still really good times. Your 800 times are better. Yeah, it was really cold today.

My legs are sore today from that treadmill last night. I havent decided today if i want to do the treadmill or run outside. I really need to let Rocky run. I cant let him in today b/c he is very dirty and wet.
